Carbohydrates - Milk contains
about 5% carbohydrates, mainly in the form of lactose
(4.8-5.2%).
Fat - There is 3.5-6.0% lipids
(fat) in milk. This figure depends on the breed of
cattle and what the cattle is fed.
Protein - There is between 3-3.5%
protein found in bovine milk. Of this protein, 80% is
casein and 20% is whey protein.
